2. Onsite Starlink Installation
Our Starlink installation team arrived on site and begin the installation process by performing the Starlink obstructions test. This test is designed to identify the optimal location for the dish to receive a good quality and uninterrupted signal from the Starlink satellite.
The obstructions test shows a “Good experience” rating for streaming, browsing, video calls, and gaming. This indicates that this location is ideal for mounting and installing the Starlink dish. The team securely installed the Starlink dish at the existing pole with the use of pivot mount and pipe adapter mount.
Using the cable routing kit, our team able to route the Starlink proprietary cable from the outdoor dish into the indoor mounting location of the Gen3 WiFi mesh router.
Connected the Starlink cable and power adapter to the router and powered on. Allow the router to initialize, then activate the Starlink system and configure the WIFI settings. The customer is given a walkthrough on how to manage the Starlink internet using Starlink App.
3. Starlink Optimization and Performance Testing

Finally, the team performed the Starlink Speed Test twenty minutes after the installation to assess the internet connection’s overall quality. We also requested the customer to perform another Starlink speed test (basic and advanced) after a few hours. It is important to note that Starlink may sometimes take up to 12 hours to fully sync.
